Daddy’s Birthday Caesarean Birth Story

As the evening of Jan 27th became the 28th, this dad started to celebrate his own birthday. He did so by rubbing his wife’s back,  getting her drinks of water, holding the space as she laboured along. As the afternoon went on, it became apparent that their baby would be born through a caesarian birth. Each time someone would mention sharing his birthday, he would respond with “well at least I will still get cake and party hats for the next 10 years.” This is true, what a special gift to have your son born on your birthday. Welcome to the world little man!
