Loss Story: The Short Life of Oscar (Trisomy 18)

Life, with all of its challenges, is a celebration. Oscar was diagnosed at 15 weeks gestation with Trisomy 18. After months of preparation and anticipation, he was born, greeted, and tenderly held by his loving family.  His life, though short, was one that was full of love, tears, and beautiful mixed emotion.  This is his story.

Here is a link to his parents blog where they documented their journey before and after Oscar's birth.

This is the full length version that was played at Oscar’s funeral.
