The day Arbutus Jude was born

Arbutus Jude entered the world, peacefully, in his home at 3:56am. I know this, because I got to call his time of birth, a very special honour for me, and not often the job of the birth photographer. Thank you A and L for allowing me into your moment and for now sharing with the world, the true beauty of birth.

Thank you to Tracy Kemp, R.M and Dawn Henderson, R.M for creating such a safe peaceful place to birth.

I wish words could describe what I witnessed early this morning. I don’t think I can find them, so will say it with these images.
