I got to attend this beautiful home water birth earlier this week. This mom filled her apartment with a group of fully supportive, loving friends and family to bring her through the process of birthing her first child. She laboured in a tub in her apartment while being talked to, fanned and adored.
Once pushing began she pushed her daughter into her own hands and brought her to her chest. Everyone in the room was awestruck by the amazing power of this new mother. Lucky for us she has decided to share her birth story. This is how birth can be. Beautiful, simple and powerful. Thank you to the amazing Dawn H., RM for providing amazing midwifery support.
